I’m plotting a trip to the used book store tomorrow so as to slim down my book collection a tad before the move. However, I’m always LOST in the used book store, overwhelmed by options without the structure provided by good marketing and busy pubicists.
Any suggestions for books I should keep in mind when browsing would be greatly appreciated. So appreciated, in fact, that I will write them down on a little list and make every effort not to leave that list in the apartment when I go out.
In other news, yesterday someone visited this site after searching for “how do I stop drooling at night?” This is most certainly not the place to learn that. I drool more than a St Bernard in my sleep.
TMI?
I can never remember books when pressed, though I usually have a list somewhere on scraps of paper. But now I’m home and staring at my bookshelf and realize you may have already been and gone to the bookstore. Sorry for failing you!
have you ever read the poisonwood bible by barbara kingsolver? i HIGHLY recommend it. i think you would like it.
I 2nd the poisionwood bible suggestion. I just (re)read The Once & Future King and am very sad to have to send it back now.
Other recent reads include “100 years of solitude” and soon I will read “The blind assassin” but I think you already have that one
I am not allowed in used book stores anymore. Not until we buy our house.
I figured since you drool so much yourself, you might have some helpful hints.
Yes, e, it’s one of those Project Runway three! But that’s all I’ll say for now…
