I saw this meme somewhere.. I’m not sure why it’s a Labor Day meme; it involves neither bbq nor labor. Haha, but I shall be tricky and use these questions describe my Labor Day weekend. Very tricky, I am. Also, exhausted.
1. Are you craving anything and if so, what?
Sunday afternoon I was wildly craving boardwalk fries. Being on the Ocean City boardwalk, they were easy to come by. I thought I was craving them because I had a lingering hangover from all the vodka the night before, but it might have just been because they are delicious.
2. What is the weather outside, and do you wish it would change?
Oh, the weather was lame, lame, lame. I actually wasn’t even able to leave for the beach Friday evening as planned because you know what? There was a hurricane! That’s right, a hurricane! I probably could have been blown right off the Bay Bridge in my flimsy little Civic. Luckily, my friend’s flight into Dulles was hugely delayed because of said hurricane, so we just made the drive Saturday morning. The rest of the weekend was overcast and cool, but not terrible. Terrible being horrendously windy with torrential downpouring.
3. What two web sites do you think you will go to next after you are finished here?
I took my laptop along for the weekend so I could check the status of Operation: Will I Ever Recieve a Syllabus for My Class? The Comfort Inn was lacking in some essientials (e.g., comfort) but they did provide free wireless and a corkscrew upon demand, so they stayed off my shit list. I’m happy I brought my laptop as it allowed me to have a naked iTunes dance party when I was somehow sentenced to being the one to leave the beach first and shower. Also, for websites, I spent a goodly amount of time drooling over this site, which my friend directed me to so I would stop drooling on her handbags.
4. Do you wish you were somewhere else and if so, where?
Yeah, Sunday night I was not feeling the club atmosphere for a second night in a row. I wanted desperately to be anywhere else, although my top three options would have been a classy wine bar with comfy seating, drinking beer outside on the boardwalk and watching the ocean, or bed.
5. Do you wish you were someone else and if so, who?
Nope. After surveying the populace of Ocean City, I am even more in love with my friends and myself. We are awesome and have impeccable taste.

I am always a comfy wine bar or beer on a boardwalk gal over a clubber (unless baby seals are involved of course).
