Because I am bored, yet alert, I’m going back to copying Leonie’s Friday Feast. I’m too important right now to be bothered with tracking down where it originally comes from again, so Leonie gets all the credit. She’s very pretty and witty, so she probably deserves it anyhow.
And for the record, I am calmer today, but still have a lot to do. The apartment thing has just been pushed off my plate entirely for another couple weeks, though, so that is good.

Name something you use to make your home smell good.
I use a lot of Nature’s Miracle in the litter box to make my home not smell bad. I would say I use candles, but the last one I purchased actually smells like a Guido, so apparently I fail at that one. Sometimes I cook, and that makes my home smell good.

Besides sleeping, what do you spend the majority of the hours of your typical day doing?
During the week, I spend more time at work than I do sleeping. This does not necessarily mean I am working; I may be reading blogs, doing the Post crossword or Sudoku puzzles, or just spinning about in my desk chair, but I am at work.
I also spend a lot of time drinking, but I almost always do something else at the same time—spend time with friends, lose Scrabble, read, watch tv, play on the Internet, smoke, beat the pants off the Boy in Scrabble, do my homework. Yes, I find I have moved to a happily adult point in my life where “multitask” does not (necessarily) mean “double-fist.”

What can you hear right now while answering these questions?

Earlier I overheard someone say, “We had the penguins in the church I grew up in,” which was pretty amusing to my protestant/pagan-raised self. We had Gaia in the church I attended towards the end of high school, but no penguins..
