I slept so well last night. That could have been because that cat didn’t bother me a bit. Which, in turn, could have been because my roommate locked him out on the balcony for the night. I have no idea why she did that. I went to bed before she got home and left for work before she got up. I wish I could say that’s because of her rock and roll lifestyle; unfortunately, it’s just a combination of our sucktastic jobs—hers keeping her ridiculously late and mine making me come in super early.

How old were you when you got your first credit card?
Err.. when I was 16 I opened my own checking account and got a check card. I remember it vividly because I really had to pee the entire time I was filling out paperwork. The bank agent probably just thought I was nervous and twitchy. In college I got a real credit card, though, and I put my birth control on it and paid it off every month. Now I have spectacular credit! (Also, several other credit cards avec bills I don’t pay off every month.. But I also have a job now! Which makes debt ok, right? Yuck.)

When was the last time you felt out of place?
The last time? Like henceforth I shall never feel out of place again? I used to feel out of place regularly when I was out with my friends who are in law school. Damn, those people can talk on and on about stuff I know not a thing about. Now I worry that I’ll feel out of place when I’m back in school because I won’t have anyone to commiserate with.

Did you have a curfew when you were a teenager? If so, what time did you have to be home?
11:00, no shit. Sometimes I could work it up to 11:30, if I tried real hard. My freshman year of college whenever I came home for break, it was 12:00. My parents weren’t strict, my mom just worked really long hours and had to be up early. Like any mother, she couldn’t sleep if I wasn’t home; it was all just so she could sleep. HA! I fixed that when I got older and tagged her as my all time favorite person to drunk dial!

Name a person from history with whom you feel you have something in common.
Eleanor Roosevelt. We both have chunky ankles. I have the self-confidence, though, to say I certainly don't resemble her in the rest of my physique. Just the cankles.

When you read a newspaper, which section do you go for first?
Classified ads. I like them.
(PS–I successfully fiddled with the HTML on this post by hand because it was being tricky. Yeah, that's right!! Am genuis!)
